1st Day: Marrakech – High Atlas – Ait Benhaddou – Skoura Oasis – Rose Valley – Dades Valley.

The following 3-day desert tour begins with an early pick-up from Marrakech airport or your hotel. Then, we head towards the High Atlas mountains which soars at an altitude of 2600-meters.
Following our Morocco itinerary, while we enjoy the views of the mountainous villages and the seasonal landscapes. After a 3 hour drive, we then arrive at the Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou. known as a UNESCO World Heritage. Moreover, a fortified site since the 11th century during the Almoravid period. Surely, take a an hour to discover this interesting site followed by lunch break.
After lunch, we head to Skoura Oasis, and the picturesque Valley of the Rose, then Kalaat M’gouna. Additionally, locals craft rose water, essential oils, and cosmetics from the roses, which are popular souvenirs. The area also hosts the vibrant Rose Festival every May.
Following this, we travel to Dades Valley, renowned for its rugged terrain, striking red rock formations, and lush green oases. After that, we pause to admire the Monkey Toes, a fascinating rock formation unique to the valley. Finally, we proceed to our accommodation to relax and enjoy the evening followed by dinner and night.

2nd Day: Dades Valley – Tinghir – Todgha Gorge – Erfoud – Merzouga Desert.

We begin our desert tour seond day with an early breakfast, then head to Tinghir. Also, is charming town in southeastern Morocco. After that, we arrive at Todgha Gorge, a dramatic canyon walls that soar up to 400 meters high. Following the arrival time with a short walk, and admire of this fantastic site. Later on, we drive to Erfoud, often referred to as the “Gateway to the Sahara Desert.” Also famous for its fossils, date palms, and vibrant local culture. According to the time, we might take a short stop to visit a Fossil museum. Later on, we head to Merzouga Desert, famed for its proximity to the stunning Erg Chebbi dunes at 150-meter height.
As soon as arrive, then we prepare for an amazing guided camel trekking excursion in the dunes. Following that with a panoramic sunset view on the top of the dunes. After that, we continue the trek to our luxury desert camp for a night. The evening time will be following dinner outside under the stars, and a drum play around the camp fire. Also, the camp is provides with air-conditioning, hot shower and a private toilet to ensure you comfort.

3rd day: Merzouga Desert – Rissani – Draa Valley – Ouarzazate – Marrakech.

Today begins with an early wake up to see a stunning sunrise over the dunes, then take time for breakfast. Afterward, we head for the final day of our Morocco desert trip. Firstly, stop at Rissani, a historic town rich in culture and tradition. Then, explore its vibrant souk, famous for local crafts, fresh dates, and aromatic spices. After that, drive to Alnif, passing stunning desert plains, distant mountains, and striking rock formations. Following our itinerary with a lunch break in a local restaurant in N’koub. Also, referred to as the “Village of 45 Kasbahs”.
Later on, we head towards Draa Valley, Morocco’s largest palm oases. Furthermore, a home of millions of date palms that thrive along the riverbanks. By driving further, we pass Ait Saoun, known for its peaceful ambiance and traditional Berber charm, and rocky hills. After that, we continue at Ouarzazate, known as the “Hollywood of Morocco,”. Moreover, Ouarzazate houses the world’s largest film studio, featuring films like Gladiator and The Mummy. When we arrive, we explore the UNESCO-listed Kasbah Taourirt, a stunning example of Moroccan architecture.
After a while, we drive across the High Atlas mountains on the way back to Marrakech. Finally, we conclude our 3 day desert tour in Marrakech airport or your hotel.
