Marrakech to Merzouga tour description

Day 1: Marrakech – High Atlas – Ait Benhaddou Kasbah – Rose Valley – Dades Valley.

On our Desert tour from Marrakech to Fes, we will start with a drive along the High Atlas mountains and enjoy the panoramic views of the snow. The first-day tour will include some stops at the panoramic spots on the way.
After 3 hours of driving in the High Atlas, we will stop to visit the Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou with our guide/driver ”a UNESCO heritage located in the foothills on the southern slopes”.
After lunch, drive towards the city of Ouarzazate which is known as the Hollywood of Africa, then cross the Valley of the Rose to arrive at Dades Valley. Finally, we will check in for our accommodation rooms with a glass of mint tea in the afternoon. Dinner will be included in the accommodation.

Day 2: Dades Valley – Todra Gorge – Erfoud – Merzouga desert dunes.

Our Desert tour from Marrakech to Fes 2nd day will be a special day with different views of Morocco. We will start driving from Dades Valley towards the city of Tinghir, Todra Gorge. At this Canyons, we will stop for a short walk with photos, then continue our journey. On our way to Merzouga, we will pass by a couple of Moroccan desert villages with traditional buildings. Upon our arrival to Erfoud, we will stop for a short visit to one of the Fossils workshops to discover the process of this interesting work. On our arrival to Merzouga dunes, we will meet our camelman who will take us on a camel trekking excursion to the top of the sand dunes. There, we will take some photos of the sunset behind the dunes. Once everyone is ready, we will camel trek back to our Luxury desert camp for an evening party with dinner and overnight under the tents. The camp is fully prepared with a hot shower, and a restaurant.

Day 3: Merzouga Desert – Ziz Valley – Midelt – Azrou Cedar Forest – Ifrane – Fes.

Since we are in the dunes of Merzouga, you may not want to miss the sunrise view in the morning before breakfast.
Once we have breakfast, we prepare for the 3rd day of our Marrakech tour to Fes.
The departure will be from the Merzouga desert dunes towards the Valley of Ziz. A palm grove of millions of palm trees. We will take a short stop in a panoramic stop to take some photos of the Valley. Our trip continues towards the Middle Atlas mountains, passing by Midelt “The Apple Capital” including a lunch break at the same city. After lunch, we will continue towards the Cedar forest of Azrou to meet the Berber apes. Our tour continues afterward to Fes passing by Ifrane city. Upon our arrival, we will accompany you to your accommodation in Fes where our 3 days desert tour from Marrakech to Fes comes to the end.
