Day 1: Marrakech – High Atlas Mountains – Ait Benhaddou – Valley of Thousand Kasbahs – Dades Valley
4 days from Marrakech to Merzouga desert tour departure:
After breakfast, our Day Desert Tours driver will meet us at our accommodation and start our private desert tour from Marrakech to Merzouga, driving towards the high Atlas mountains. We will make a few stops to discover the best High Atlas panoramic landscapes. After 3 hours of driving, we will reach the Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou, one of the UNESCO Best World Heritage sites established by Ethami Lglaoui. Here, we will go on a guided tour to explore the kasbah with our driver or a private local guide. Afterward, we will enjoy a Moroccan lunch in a local restaurant before we continue our itinerary.
Once everyone is ready to continue our journey, our private tour will lead us towards Ouarzazate, the Hollywood of Africa, and cross the Valley of the Rose and Dades Valley, where we will see the Monkey Toes rock formation. Our first night will be in a Moroccan riad in Dades Valley.
Day 2: Dades Valley – Todra Gorge – Erfoud – Merzouga Desert.

After breakfast, we will continue our 4 day desert tour by driving from Dades Valley towards Tinghir, where we will visit one of the area canyons with an altitude of 300 Meters. Here, we can stop for a walk under the canyons and take some photos. Afterward, we will continue towards the Merzouga desert, passing by the Erfoud, the geology town of the Southeast. Once we arrive at the dunes, we will go on a camel trekking excursion with our private camel man to enjoy the best sunset view of our life on the top of the dunes. We will then return on our camel caravan to our luxury desert camp, where we will enjoy an evening in the heart of the dunes and watch the stars. Day 3: Merzouga desert to Ouarzazate via Draa Valley.
Since we are in Merzouga desert dunes, you might want to wake up early to see a fantastic sunrise over the dunes before we depart for the 3rd day of our Marrakech desert tour. After breakfast in the camp, we will start driving from Merzouga to Ouarzazate, passing by the city of Rissani and the South fields of Acacia trees. Here, we might take a short stop to take photos of this area before continuing our itinerary.
After a while, we will join the Valley of Draa to enjoy the views of the green palm groves and cross the Ait Saouen mountains to arrive at Ouarzazate. Upon our arrival, we’ll make a short stop to see the panoramic Kasbah of Taourirt before we check in for our hotel.
Day 4: Ouarzazate to Marrakech via the High Atlas mountains.
