1ˢᵗ day: Fes – Ifrane – Azrou Cedar Forest – Middle Atlas – Merzouga Desert (7–8 hours drive)

To begin with, our 3-day trip from Fes to Marrakech kicks off at 8:00 am. Your Morocco tour driver will pick you up from your accommodation, and we’ll set off on our exciting adventure. Our first stop is the charming city of Ifrane, often referred to as “The Switzerland of Morocco” due to its alpine architecture and lush greenery. Then, we’ll continue to the Cedar Forest of Azrou, where you’ll have the chance to see the famous Berber Apes and capture some unforgettable photos.
Following that, we’ll drive through the stunning Middle Atlas mountains, offering panoramic views of rugged landscapes and serene valleys. On the way to Merzouga, we’ll pause at the Palm Grove of Ziz, an oasis known for its incredible vistas. Afterward, we’ll head straight into the heart of the Merzouga Desert, where you’ll embark on a guided camel trekking excursion. This journey will take you to the top of the towering dunes to witness a spectacular sunset. Finally, your camel trek will lead you to your luxury desert camp, where you’ll spend the night surrounded by the serene dunes. Enjoy a traditional dinner followed by lively drum music and dance under the starry desert sky.

2ⁿᵈ day: Merzouga Desert – Erfoud – Todra Gorge – Tinghir – Dades Valley (4–5 hours drive)

Wake up early to catch the breathtaking sunrise over the desert dunes. Afterward, enjoy your breakfast before continuing our Desert trip. Our next stop is Erfoud, known as the capital of fossils, where we’ll visit a local fossil workshop to see the fascinating collection. Then, we’ll head to Todra Gorge, a stunning canyon with 300-meter-high cliffs, offering magnificent views and photo opportunities.
Following that, we’ll travel toward the Valley of Dades, famous for the dramatic rock formations known as “Monkey Toes.” This awe-inspiring landmark will take your breath away. Afterward, we’ll arrive at accommodation in the Dades Valley, where you’ll enjoy dinner and a restful night.

3ʳᵈ day: Dades Gorge – Rose Valley – Ouarzazate – Ait Benhaddou – High Atlas – Marrakech (6–7 hours drive)

After breakfast, we’ll embark on the final leg of our Morocco desert tour. Our first stop is the Rose Valley, also known as the “Rose Capital,”. This landscape is adorned with stunning pink-hued flowers. Then, we cross the Skoura Valley and make our way to Ouarzazate, often called the “Gateway to the Sahara.” Here, you’ll visit the impressive Kasbah of Taourirt and the famous cinema studios, where numerous Hollywood films have been shot.
In the afternoon, we’ll visit Ait Benhaddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site and a remarkable example of traditional earthen architecture. After exploring the kasbah, we’ll continue our journey through the High Atlas mountains via the Tizi N’Tichka pass. This is offering breathtaking views of the peaks and valleys. Finally, we’ll arrive in Marrakech, where your driver will drop you off at your accommodation. Here, marking the end of our 3-day desert trip from Fes to Marrakech.
