1ˢᵗ Day: Casablanca – Rabat (1.5 hours drive, 90 km)

We begin our 10 days Morocco Grand tour with an early pick up from Casablanca airport or your accommodation. Then we head to visit to the Hassan II Mosque in Casablanca, an iconic landmark and one of the largest mosques in the world. After exploring the mosque, we drive to Rabat, Morocco’s capital. Here, we visit the Oudayas Kasbah, a peaceful fortress with Andalusian gardens, the historic Hassan Tower, and the Chellah Gate. In the evening, we savor our first Moroccan meal and relax in a charming riad.

2ⁿᵈ Day: Rabat – Asilah – Tangier – Chefchaouen (5.5 hours drive, 350 km)

After breakfast, we travel to the coastal town of Asilah, known for its stunning murals and whitewashed medina. Next, we head to Tangier, where we explore the Hercules Cave and Cape Spartel, offering breathtaking ocean views. We enjoy fresh seafood for lunch before continuing through the scenic Rif Mountains. By evening, we arrive in Chefchaouen, the enchanting “Blue Pearl,” and stay overnight in the medina.

3ʳᵈ Day: Exploring Chefchaouen

We spend the day exploring the charm of Chefchaouen with a local guide. In the morning, we visit historical sites, including the Uta el-Hammam square and the Great Mosque. Afterward, we enjoy free time to wander the picturesque blue alleys, shop for unique crafts, or relax in a café. We stay overnight in the same riad.

4ᵗʰ Day: Chefchaouen – Volubilis – Meknes – Fes (5 hours drive, 250 km)

Today, we travel to Fes, stopping first at Volubilis, a UNESCO World Heritage Site with well-preserved Roman ruins. Next, we visit Meknes, another imperial city, where we explore Al Mansour Gate, the Swani Granary, and the lively main square. After lunch, we continue to Fes, arriving in the evening for an overnight stay in the historic medina.

5ᵗʰ Day: Fes Sightseeing

We dive into Fes, Morocco’s oldest imperial city, with a guided tour. Our first stop is the Royal Palace gate, followed by the Mellah, the historic Jewish Quarter. Next, we visit Al-Karaouine University, the world’s oldest university, and the vibrant Chaouara Tannery. We conclude the day with panoramic views from the South Tower before returning to our riad.

6ᵗʰ Day: Fes – Ifrane – Cedar Forest – Midelt – Sahara Desert (7 hours drive, 470 km)

We leave Fes and travel through the scenic Middle Atlas Mountains. Our first stop is Ifrane, often called “Moroccan Switzerland,” for its Alpine charm. Next, we visit the cedar forest near Azrou, home to Barbary monkeys. After passing through Midelt and the lush Ziz Valley, we arrive in Merzouga. Here, we enjoy a camel ride at sunset and stay overnight in a luxury desert camp.

7ᵗʰ Day: Exploring the Desert

Today, we immerse ourselves in the magic of the Sahara Desert. We visit an ancient irrigation system and meet nomadic families to learn about their traditional way of life. Later, we explore the Gnaoua village of Khamlia and enjoy a vibrant music performance. For lunch, we savor a traditional Berber pizza. Afterward, we relax and enjoy the serene desert atmosphere.

8ᵗʰ Day: Merzouga – Erfoud – Todra Gorges – Dades Valley (5 hours drive, 340 km)

We start early to watch the sunrise over the dunes. After breakfast, we visit Erfoud, famous for its fossil workshops, and then head to the Todra Gorges. Here, towering cliffs create a dramatic natural landscape. After lunch in Tinghir, we drive to the picturesque Dades Valley, where we spend the night in a cozy guesthouse.

9ᵗʰ Day: Dades Valley – Rose Valley – Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – Marrakech (7 hours drive, 360 km)

Our journey takes us through the fragrant Rose Valley, known for its annual rose festival. In Ouarzazate, also called “Hollywood of Africa,” we explore the Taourirt Kasbah. Next, we visit Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and filming location for Gladiator. After crossing the Tizi n’Tichka Pass, we reach Marrakech by evening and settle into a charming riad.

10ᵗʰ Day: Marrakech Sightseeing

We spend our final day exploring Marrakech with a local guide. Our tour includes the Koutoubia Mosque, Saadian Tombs, Bahia Palace, and the vibrant souks of the Medina. In the afternoon, we visit the serene Majorelle Garden and the Menara Garden. This memorable day concludes our 10 Days Grand Morocco Tour.
