1ˢᵗ day: Fez City Tour

  • Driving Hours: Minimal (within Fez)

We begin our Fez to Marrakech journey with a guided tour of Fez, one of the oldest cities in the world. First, we visit the Bou Inania Madrasa, known for its intricate Islamic architecture. Then, we explore the historic Al Quaraouiyine University, the world’s oldest continuously operating educational institution. Next, marvel at the Chouara Tanneries and stroll through Fez el-Bali, the old medina. After lunch, we visit the Royal Palace gates and the Mellah (Jewish Quarter). Finally, end the day with breathtaking sunset views from Borj Nord before returning to your accommodation.


2ⁿᵈ day: Fez – Ifrane – Azrou Cedar Forest – Middle Atlas – Ziz Palm Grove – Merzouga Desert

  • Driving Hours: ~7–8 hours

After breakfast, we leave Fez and drive toward Ifrane, often called the “Switzerland of Morocco.” After a coffee break, we continue to the Azrou Cedar Forest, home to playful Barbary Apes. Crossing the Middle Atlas, we reach Midelt, where you’ll enjoy lunch in the Apple Capital. Afterward, we drive through the scenic Ziz Valley and the lush Palm Grove before arriving in Merzouga. Here, you’ll embark on a camel trek to witness a magical sunset over the dunes. Finally, settle into your luxury desert camp for dinner and an enchanting night under the stars.


3ʳᵈ day: Merzouga Desert – Erfoud – Todra Gorge – Dades Valley

  • Driving Hours: ~6 hours

We start the day early to watch the sunrise over the Sahara dunes, followed by a delicious breakfast. Then, we journey to Erfoud, known for its fossils and unique charm. Next, we head to Todra Gorge, a stunning canyon where towering cliffs create an awe-inspiring scene. Afterward, we continue to the Dades Valley, famous for its dramatic rock formations, including the “Monkey Toes.” Check in to your accommodation for dinner and a relaxing evening.


4ᵗʰ day: Dades Valley – Rose Valley – Ouarzazate – Ait Benhaddou – High Atlas Mountains – Marrakech

After breakfast, we continue our Morocco desert tour through the Rose Valley, known for its fragrant flowers and kasbahs. Next, we arrive in Ouarzazate, the “Hollywood of Africa,” where we visit the Taourirt Kasbah and Cinema Studio. Afterward, we travel to Ait Benhaddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site featured in films like Gladiator and The Mummy. After lunch, we cross the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass, admiring breathtaking views. Arrive in Marrakech in the evening and check in to your riad for dinner and a peaceful night.


5ᵗʰ day: Marrakech City Tour – Agafay Desert Trip

We start our Marrakech city tour with a visit to the iconic Djemaa el-Fna square, bustling with performers and vendors. Next, we explore the Koutoubia Mosque and the tranquil Jardin Majorelle. After lunch, we embark on an exciting Agafay Desert trip, where you’ll enjoy the serene beauty of Morocco’s arid landscape. Sip Moroccan tea, engage in fun desert activities, and immerse yourself in the peaceful atmosphere. End the day at a panoramic desert camp, enjoying dinner and a night under the stars.


6ᵗʰ day: Agafay – Marrakech

On the final day of your 6 Days Morocco desert tour, we return to Marrakech. You’ll have time to reflect on your journey, which captured the essence of Moroccan culture, nature, and history. o Morocco Desert Tour 3 Days

During this 5 days Morocco tour, you will visit mostly amazing Morocco Atlas sites. Moreover, explore the Gorges, historical sites, Heritages, Kasbahs, lush oases, and the vast Sahara desert culture.

We start the 5-day, 4-night tour from Marrakech airport or your accommodation, then head towards the High Atlas. After that, we explore the Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Following that to the lush Skoura Oasis, and the Rose Valley. Then, we explore famous Dades Valley. Furthermore, we travel towards Todgha Gorge, and Merzouga desert.

Our Morocco itinerary will surely include a full day desert excursion to explore the Sahara region. Following that by a camel ride, a sunset and sunrise view, and a night in a luxury camp. Afterward, we travel to Rissani, Alnif and delve into more Berber villages like Tazarine and Nkoub. We then explore the lush Draa Valley, the largest palm oasis in Morocco with millions of date palms.

Later, we head to Ait Saouen village, with its rocky hills, and arrive at Ouarzazate. Which also renowned for its cinematic history, no wonder why it named the “Hollywood of Morocco”. After that, we proceed our Morocco trip to Talouet Kasbah. Also known as the Glaoui Kasbah, gained prominence in the 1920s and 1930s. Finally, our 5 days tour in Morocco ends at Marrakech.

1st Day: Marrakech – High Atlas – Ait Benhaddou – Rose Valley – Dades Valley

The following 5 days Morocco desert tour begins with an early pick-up in Marrakech hotel or airport. We then travel towards the picturesque High Atlas mountains and Tizi N Tichka pass at 2600 meters high. The trip will surely include free time to admire the panoramic sights. Within 3 hours drive, we then arrive at the fortified Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou. Also a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Morocco’s most iconic ksour. We will surely take an hour to explore this Kasbah and time for lunch.

After lunch, we then set off towards the Rose Valley, renowned for its Damask roses. Moreover, locals produce rose water, essential oils, and cosmetics from the roses, which are popular souvenirs. Afterward, we continue our trip to Dades Valley, known as the Valley of 1000 kasbah. Also, famous of its lush green oases, and unique rock formations resembling a monkey’s fingers.

Later on, we continue to check into our accommodation. Following the evening with dinner and overnight.

 

2nd Day: Dades Valley – Tinghir – Todgha Gorge – Erfoud – Merzouga Sahara desert dunes.

After breakfast, we then prepare for this amazing trip. Once everyone is ready, then head on the second day of our Morocco tour. Firstly, we drive further in the Valley to explore the gorge of Dades. Known of its hairpin bends, also provides panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and cliffs.

After that, we head to Tinghir through the fortified villages that reflect Morocco’s architectural heritage. Afterward, we arrive at Todgha Gorge, a dramatic canyon walls that soar up to 400 meters high. We surely take some time to wander of this amazing site. Following that, we continue our trip to Morocco’s Berber villages like Tinjdad, where we’ll stop for lunch.

Later on, we head to Erfoud, a popular stop for travelers heading into the Sahara. Also, famous for its fossils, date palms, and vibrant local culture. Afterward, our trip leads us to Merzouga. Moreover, famous for its proximity to Erg Chebbi dunes, soaring 150 meters high in the Sahara Desert.

When we arrive at the dunes, we firstly stop to take some panormic photos and admire of the area. Finally, we wrap the itinerary day and check into our desert hotel with dinner and overnight.

 

3rd Day: Sahara Desert ( Discovering excursion – Camel Trekking – Night in a Luxury Desert Camp)

Following breakfast, we begin the 3rd day of our Morocco tour with a Sahara desert excursion. Afterward, we visit Lake Yasmina, renowned for its serene beauty and reflections of Erg Chebbi’s towering dunes. After that, we follow the Rally Dakar off-road to explore Tisserdmin oasis. The oasis is a picturesque spot with verdant palm trees, while it contrasts beautifully with the golden desert sands.

Meanwhile, we explore the fossil quarries, once covered by an ancient ocean. Which still hold the fossils of ammonites, trilobites, and other marine life. After that, we head to visit a nomadic family settlement to learn about their Sahara desert lifestyle.

Afterward, we visit Miffis eyeliner mines, a historical site once used for extracting kohl. In addition, people use kohl, a natural mineral, in traditional eyeliner. Later on, we cross the off-road area and head to Khamlia village, often called the “Village of the Gnaoua,”. It also offers a unique opportunity to experience authentic Moroccan culture. Moreover, visitors can enjoy live performances showcasing this soulful blend of African and Moroccan musical traditions.

After enjoying a lively dance, we then head for lunch, where you can savor traditional Berber Pizza. Also known as Madfouna, it’s a popular and traditional dish in the region. In the afternoon, we drive to the accommodation to meet our camel man, and prepare for the following camel trip.

Afterward, our camel trekking leads us into the heart of the dunes to see an amazing sunset. Later, we continue our camel trekking to our luxury desert camp. We finally enjoy the evening with dinner, drums party, and night under the stars. Undoubtedly, this is the best desert tour highlight. Additionally, the camp provides power sockets, air-conditioning, hot showers, and private toilets for your comfort.
